Union Grove is known for the oldest Fiddler's Convention held in the nation.  (It's right across the street.)  But, music is not played here just on Memorial Day Weekend.  It's literally played everyday.  Ride down to the Cook Shack and Myles will pick up his guitar and start strumming while you eat one of Pal's delicious chicken sandwiches.  Then on Friday nights, travel over to Windsor 's Crossroads (about 5 miles) and sit and play or listen to the lilting sounds of people making music.    Saturday mornings go back to the Cook Shack and it will be packed with visitors from around the world -- playing and singing.  It's unbelievable.  The Cook Shack is now offering mid-week concerts.  Well, not only do we have music each week, but there are festivals too.  Check out VanHoy Farms for musical happenings all summer long.  Bring your guitar or just bring yourself, but come and listen to the beautiful strains of music in Union Grove.
